Over 42 years in dentistry with extensive experience in Reception, Assisting, Management and Consulting. Taught the dental administration course to dental hygiene students, and instrumental in management and presentation of continuing education courses.
Currently I am managing 3 dental business and doing consulting for dental offices on a part time basis.

I have been volunteering with Health Mission Outreach both locally and internationally since 2014 in numerous missions. Since 2015 I partnered with the Lions Club of Barrie to enable us to supply prescription eye ware for our international missions.

Working in the construction industry in Alberta since 2010, John has been an incorporated Owner Operator since early 2015. With extensive experience in new construction, shutdowns and maintenance, John’s work has taken him all over the province.
Contributions
John has been volunteering with HMO on a yearly basis since 2015. He is a big supporter of the organization’s work, and a firm believer in helping others and improving people’s lives. Though John does not have any professional clinical training, his mechanical aptitude and ability have been key in assisting Dr Hangfu maintain the smooth operation of field clinics in Guatemala.
Personal
John is interested in maintaining his health through physical fitness, and enjoys running and skiing as well as going to the gym. He also enjoys travelling with his wife and young daughter, to explore different cultures and see different parts of the world. John greatly values ‘paying it forward’ when possible by helping others in the community, and through his volunteer work with HMO Canada.
